When I set out to write this blog I knew it wouldn't be a daily, weekly, or maybe even monthly thing (even though I would like for it to be at least bi-weekly). I wanted to sit down and write when I felt it was time to write. When I was inspired to write. Today I feel inspired to write. I wanted to write a quick list on what I'm thankful for.
- My husband-the person who is always in my corner. Even if being in my corner means being brutally honest with me sometimes.
- Julian-my son. He's the one with my weird sense of humor who is always just willing. He might not offer to help (what 11 year old boy does?), but when he's asked to help he does it with no qualms. He's become this totally cool, mature kid and I'm so proud of who he is and who he's becoming.
- Jocelyn-my daughter. She's my spitfire who doesn't believe in limitations. I am jealous of her resilience and inability to think that the word no is ever going to hold her back. She's a fighter through and through and I love for it.
- My family/my husband's family. They are always there for us when we need them. There might be arguing and head butting but what family doesn't have any of that?
- I'm thankful for change-that if there's something that isn't working I alone have there ability to change it. My diet, my mood, my job..I am thankful for the fact that I have the ability to make those changes..and soon I intend to.
I know that was a quick post, but it's Thanksgiving and I want to love up on my family. I want to post a proper update this week.
